What’s DualShockers Playing This Weekend?
Staff, 2022-11-18 16:00:00,
If you’re reading this, then congratulations! The week is over, and however challenging or breezy it’s been you’re now entitled to kick back on the couch, put some horse blinkers on so you can’t see beyond the peripheries of the screen, and get down to some serious gaming. It’s been a good week for Game Pass subscribers, with some interesting little left-field games popping up, while on PlayStation players will no doubt still be stomping around the Norse realms as a certain sullen daddy.
So what’s happening at DualShockers this weekend? Has Jeff gotten over his Ragnarok obsession? Will Jack start an all-new run of Pentiment? Let’s find out…
Robert Zak – Lead Features Editor
From atmospheric but underwhelming wanders through the apocalypse one weekend, to suppressing a vampiric insurrection in the Old West the next, games journalism is a such a rollercoaster that I find myself short of breath and fumbling for my inhaler as I write this.
I jest, I don’t really have an inhaler (unless nicotine-filled vape pens count).
Anyway, this weekend I’m playing Evil West for a review that’ll be up on these pages next week. It’s pretty high-intensity stuff (as you’d expect from the folks who brought us the Shadow Warrior remake), so between sessions of that I’ll be popping back to old… Bavaria (I think?) to solve a murder in Obsidian’s beautiful medieval manuscript jaunt Pentiment….
