This time of year is always a little slow with new video game releases, but the good news is that there are plenty of great titles from the past few months to catch up on — especially with wintry weather hitting and making the great outdoors a much less appealing prospect! Now’s the time to work through your backlog and pick up that game you’ve been eyeing all year long.

If you’re a Pokemon fan, you owe it to yourself to try out Pokemon Scarlet (or Violet!) It’s one of the best Pokemon games in years, although admittedly, the game is a bit buggy. None are game-breaking, though; most of the glitches just result in hilarious situations that you’ll get a good laugh out of.

One customer has tried to assuage fears of bugs: “Honestly, I feel too many people expect perfection from Pokemon. I love the many hours I’ve poured into the game so far. I haven’t completed the main story yet but honestly worth the purchase to me.”

I’ve completed the main story, and let me tell you: definitely worth it.
