Here’s your four-hours-long gameplay demonstration of the extremely ambitious Skyblivion project.

The developers of one of the most ambitious mods in the modding landscape, Skyblivion, have dropped a hefty gameplay video with a Q&A session. The four-hour-long livestream offers a long journey into the development process of the massive mod and showcases the game’s current state.

TESRenewal’s long-in-the-works project aims to unify two of the most celebrated entries in Bethesda’s esteemed The Elder Scrolls series. The project aims to build The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion within the engine of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition. While the developers have been sharing bits and pieces from their ambitious project in the past, the new gameplay demonstration is the first to show Skyblivion’s scale extensively.

The hefty gameplay video opens with the starting area, Vilverin, and offers a glimpse into the unique weapons of the long-awaited project. According to the developers, there will be “many unique artifacts” in Skyblivion that come with unique powers, from a Daedra-summoning staff to a fiery sword that sends waves of flame towards enemies. The developers say they “have decided to give some weapons a very cool overhaul,” and left some others as they are.
