The Pokemon franchise, if some are believed, has very shallow RPG gameplay. While its fans explain that getting a Pokemon catching some in the wild and using them in battles against other trainers, is just the surface of these games.
You catch them, you can even breed two Pokémons, and then there are TMs. To its most loyal fans, this series is a lot more than just catching some wild monsters and turn-based battles. They have a decent story; players learn to be independent. They encourage players to make important decisions. Then comes the question of post-game content.
