The last few months of 2022 have been full of game releases and ports – which means plenty of opportunities for modders. From Sonic Frontiers to Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, there have been some exciting developments this week.

Skyrim Mod Creates The Most Realistic Garlic Ever
Skyrim modders have brought us so much over the years. From gameplay to visuals, it often feels like there’s no area of the game that can be improved at this point. However, modder wSkeever has found something in need of perfecting: Skyrim’s garlic models. Released last month, the Nexus user has modded in the most gorgeous-looking video game garlic we’ve ever seen. Its detail puts all other video game food to shame, and is a vast improvement on the abomination that passes off as garlic in the vanilla game.
Mod Makes Pokemon Scarlet & Violet Run At 60 FPS
Pokemon Scarlet & Violet visuals aren’t particularly impressive, and the game doesn’t even perform well enough to justify the graphical downgrade. Capped at 30 FPS, it sometimes even struggles to maintain that, with some gameplay sequences causing incredibly noticeable drops in quality. Despite this, a modder has managed to get it running…
