Persona 4 Golden And Persona 3 Portable Will Be Digital Only Releases

Both games are coming to modern platforms in January 2023.
Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portable will be released on all modern platforms on January 19th, 2023, though fans hoping for some physical media to throw on their shelf will be disappointed as the two games will be released as digital downloads only.
Back in June, Atlus announced that Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden, and Persona 5 Royal would soon be available on PlayStation 4 (and 5 through backwards compatibility), Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Both games will also be available on Xbox Game Pass day one. Persona 5 is the most recent of these releases, and both digital and physical versions are currently available. Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden were later confirmed to be coming out in January 2023, with Altus’ official website listing all versions of these titles being digital only.
Earlier in December, Atlus tweeted a video outlining each game for newer fans using a more recent character from Persona 5 that new fans would be familiar with.
