Hit VR studio Resolution Games promises “big game announcements”

Resolution Games has a few big surprises in store for December 15, including a brand-new VR game.
Resolution Games is responsible for VR games like Demeo (review), Blaston (review), Cook-Out: A Sandwich Tale, and most recently Ultimechs (review), designed for multiplayer experiences, taking advantage of the medium’s strengths.
The studio has secured $38.5 million from investors since its founding and employs more than 150 people (as of July 2022). Last year, Resolution Games quadrupled its sales with VR games.
On December 15, the first “Resolution Games Showcase” will take place. During the online event, founder and CEO Tommy Palm and other studio employees will announce at least one new VR game, major updates to existing titles, and more surprises for VR and AR fans.
Demeo: New adventure introduces barbarian class
The studio has already announced that the fifth Demeo adventure, titled Reign of Madness, releases on December 15.
The group of heroes explores the evil-haunted village of Ends, where they meet new enemies and NPCs with their own stories. Reign of Madness also introduces a new hero class: the barbarian Uhrak, who fights with a grappling hook. Reign of Madness, like the previous four adventure updates, will be free.
