Cyberpunk 2077 players can now invest in Arasaka and dozens of other dystopian corporations thanks to a newly released mod that adds a full-fledged stock market to the PC version of the game. Veteran Cyberpunk 2077 modders keanuWheeze and scornthegreat released their latest creation via Nexus Mods earlier today, complete with a comprehensive changelog detailing its many features.
CD Projekt Red launched its official modding tools for Cyberpunk 2077 shortly after the RPG’s late 2020 debut, while it was still frantically fixing bugs in an effort to mitigate the public backlash prompted by the buggy state of the game. And while a lot of its initial post-launch focus was directed toward fixing the performance on last-generation consoles, the online modding community went to work on expanding the PC version of the game.
The latest addition to the growing range of custom expansions for Cyberpunk 2077 comes in the form of a Stock Market and News System mod, which adds a stock exchange tab to every PC terminal in the game. From there, players can research and invest in 33 corpos previously established by the official game lore, as well as browse news relevant to changes in their portfolio’s valuation.
